Privacy Policy
What information this website collects, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are
Two Dudes Seafood Restaurant (“Two Dudes Seafood”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a family-owned seafood restaurant serving Atlantic Beach and the Jacksonville beaches since 2006. This policy explains what information we collect through our website at twodudesseafoodrestaurant.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What personal information we collect
Very little. This website has no contact form, no newsletter signup, and no visitor accounts, so there is nothing here for you to fill in and nothing for us to collect from you. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, payment details, health information, or government identifiers through this site.
Like any website, our host records standard technical request logs (such as IP address and browser user-agent) for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.
Ordering, calling and directions
Our “Order Online” buttons take you to Get Sauce, a third-party ordering platform. Anything you enter there — your name, contact details, order and payment information — is collected by Get Sauce under their own privacy policy and terms, not ours. The same applies to the map and directions links, which open Google Maps, and to our Instagram and Facebook profiles.
If you call us on (904) 246-2000 we will have your phone number the ordinary way any business does. We use it to take and follow up on your order, not for marketing.
How we use information
We use the limited technical information described above to keep the site secure and working, and — only if you allow it — aggregate analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Cookies and your consent choices
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. We use a first-party cookie to remember your privacy choices, and — only if you allow them — cookies set by any analytics or advertising services we may use.
When you first visit, a consent banner asks you to choose. Nothing in the Performance or Marketing categories loads until you make that choice, and choosing “Reject all” keeps them switched off. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie named fc_consent and is remembered for up to one year, or until you change it.
We group cookies into three categories: Essential Cookies, which are always on because the site cannot work without them and which include the cookie that remembers this very choice; Performance Cookies, which power analytics; and Marketing Cookies, which measure advertising. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the link in the footer of every page.
Analytics and advertising
If and when we enable analytics or advertising measurement, those services load only after you consent to the matching category. They set their own cookies and receive information about your visit, including pages viewed and a general location derived from your IP address. If you decline, or have not yet made a choice, they are not loaded and receive nothing about your visit. This page is updated to name each service we actually use.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that run this website, and only as far as they need it to do that work. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. These currently are our website host (Vercel), our content-management database (Supabase), and our media storage (Vercel Blob). The third-party services you choose to open from our site — Get Sauce for ordering, Google Maps for directions, Instagram and Facebook — are separate and act under their own policies.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our guests, our team, or the public.
How long we keep information
Technical request logs are kept only as long as our host retains them for security and reliability. Analytics data, if enabled, is retained according to that provider’s own retention settings. Because the site collects no enquiry forms, there is no correspondence database to retain.
How we protect information
Data is stored on servers in the United States. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the whole site, access controls that limit staff access to those who need it, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take these safeguards seriously.
Data breach procedures
If we become aware of a breach affecting personal information in our care, we will investigate promptly, take steps to contain it, and notify affected individuals and the appropriate authorities where the law requires us to.
Your privacy rights
You can ask us for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. You can also withdraw your cookie consent at any time from the footer link. We may need to keep certain records for legal or tax reasons. To make a request, call us on (904) 246-2000 or write to the address below; we may need to verify your identity first.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, the right to request a copy of it, the right to request its deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
We do not sell or share your personal informationas those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. Through this website the only categories that arise are identifiers (IP address) and, if you consent to analytics, internet activity (pages viewed). We use them for the purposes described in “How we use information” above. To exercise any of these rights, call us on (904) 246-2000 or write to the address below. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Accessibility tools
Our accessibility panel stores your display preferences — text size, colours, and the like — in your own browser’s local storage. Those settings never leave your device and are never sent to us. If you use its dictionary lookup, the word you type is sent to Wikipedia to fetch the definition, and only then.
Third-party links
Our website links to other websites, including the ordering platform, mapping service and social profiles named above. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies separately.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top and bottom of this page. Material changes will be highlighted here.
